About this course

In this 4-session course, students will discover strategies and time management techniques to enhance their academic, personal, and professional lives. They will begin by increasing awareness of their time-management behaviors and setting goals for improvement. As the course progresses, students will explore and apply various evidence based and practical time management techniques and strategies to their daily life and studies.

Objectives

After completing this 4-session course, the students will be able to:
• Set effective goals and habits that can help in achieving them;
• Assess their time management strengths and weaknesses.
• Reflect on personal motivation and how to utilize and trigger it;
• Use mindfulness and other techniques to reduce stress and improve focus in their daily lives;
• Identify time management techniques that work best for them;
• Apply techniques to deal with negative time management habits, such as procrastination,
perfectionism, and fear of failure;

Participant profile

2nd year students in the Research Master in Health Sciences programme (120 EC), other Research Master students and external participants.
