The Art & Skill of Negotiation

About this course

In this 4-session course, students will practice the basics of negotiation skills through a variety of exercises. They will explore both conventional and modern approaches to negotiations and apply practical tools and techniques to various negotiation role-play scenarios.

Objectives

After completing this 4-session course, the students will be able to:
• Understand the role of negotiations in social context;
• Apply effective communication tools to negotiation situations;
• Analyze the technical and social aspect of negotiation situations;
• Develop a tactical empathy mindset in negotiation situations.

Participant profile

2nd year students in the MSc Health Sciences programme, other Research Master students and external participants.
